The Rozamira Festival 2007 (also known as Rozamira'07) was a major contemporary art and culture festival held in Moscow, Russia, primarily centered at the Winzavod Centre for Contemporary Art. The festival featured a diverse range of international participants and focused on the intersection of street art, performance, and multimedia installations. The project often drew inspiration from the philosophical work The Rose of the World (Roza Mira) by Daniil Andreyev, exploring themes of spiritual and cultural unity through modern artistic expression. It was held in September 2007.
The Rozamira Festival hosted a variety of international artists and performers across different disciplines:
- Ottograph (Amsterdam): A prominent street artist who painted a large-scale mural on a building within the Winzavod complex specifically for the festival.
- Jonzi D (UK): The Sadler's Wells Associate Artist directed a new performance piece titled "Hectic Dialectic" for the festival, blending hip-hop and theatrical elements.
- assume vivid astro focus (avaf): This international art collective presented their signature visually explosive and multimedia-driven work.
- Haris Epaminonda (Cyprus/Germany): The award-winning artist participated in "Rozamira'07" as part of her early international exhibition career.
- Galya Solodovnikova: The costume designer and artist presented projects during the 2007 iteration.
